Have you ever felt so in sync with your life that everything just falls in to place?
In February 2017 I quit my desk job in pursuit of a location free lifestyle, and to set up my own business – A Feaverish Life. Working in a role where you don’t actually need to sit behind a desk all day is something that many people dream of doing. The last 10 years of my corporate life I had realised that a lot of the work I was doing could actually be accomplished from any location. My bosses were always travelling, so our communication was mostly virtual (email, text or phone). And if you think about it, most of the interaction you have with businesses or people these days is virtual. When I sat back and thought about it, it actually wasn’t very often that I needed to meet someone face to face.
So that is why I started to plan my life so I could travel and work. Experience different countries and cultures, meet new people and expand my skill set. I’ve learnt that my own personal goals can be directly related to helping other people. While I am pursuing my big ideas and dreams, I can also make a difference in the lives of others at the same time. And the biggest thing I realised is that you don’t have to live your life the way other people expect you to.
I love what I do, because in my job no day is the same and I am always learning from those who I meet along the way. Hiring a Virtual Assistant is the smart way of getting the business support you need, without the associated costs and stresses of hiring a full-time employee. I am grateful that I have been able to make this shift in my working life and help others succeed. As quoted from Chris Guillebeau “If you want to succeed badly enough, and are willing to make some changes in your life to cause it to happen, you too can take over the world… or do anything else you really want to do”.
